Dan Ashmore

Dan is a new Data Analyst at CryptoAdvisor, starting in February 2022. He grew up in Ireland although he is currently living in Medellin, Colombia. He previously worked as an investment analyst within the alternative investment arena of aviation finance in Ireland, building bespoke models for the purchase and sale of aircraft to and from airlines, other aircraft leasing companies and private equity investors. Dan has now swapped Boeing 787s for magic Internet money, ultimately finding the lure of the crypto world too strong to ignore. He has also 8+ years of experience in the sports betting market, where he exploits pricing inefficiencies of bookmakers and betting exchanges to generate arbitrage trades.

Dan received his Bachelors in Economics & Finance from University College Dublin, graduating with full class honours. He is also a CFA charterholder, although he remains bitter about the lack of crypto on the curriculum!
