Crypto.com has started rolling out its crypto exchange platform in the US.
Following the announcement, the crypto.com' exchange platform is currently only available to waitlisted institutional users as it continues with the rollout that is poised to continue for the next couple so that more users gain access.
As of now only selected institutional investors can access the exchange's platform but the Crypto.com team is working on making sure that the platform will provide services to more traders and investors with time.
During the announcement, the exchange noted that its VIP users will have exclusive access to market insights, rewards, and various events as well as exclusive forums.
Kris Marszalek, Crypto.com CEO, could not hide his joy as he emphasized the rollout process announcement. He said:
"We are excited to be expanding our offering for professional traders to the U.S. ,,, Crypto.com Exchange will support U.S. institutional investors through this initial launch phase. We are looking forward to rolling it out to everyone as soon as possible.”
Crypto.com growing popularity
The platform has been making immense marketing efforts, last week it airdropped a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collection that featured an NBA superstar, LeBron James.
Following the airdrop, the platform got an advert on Super Bowl where 5,550 viewers were given The Moment of Truth collection.
Additionally, last year, the Crypto.com exchange was also advertised by Matt Damon, a Hollywood celebrity (Actor in the famous Great Wall of China movie). The celebrity appeared on television spots and billboards in the ad which highlighted ‘’ fortune favors the brave’’ however, this one received mixed reactions with South Park episode characters making fun of Matt Damon appearing on the ad.
