You can now connect Phantom to display your NFTs on Behance
Behance, a social media platform owned by Adobe, has announced support for Phantom Wallet. This enables creatives to showcase Solana-and Ethereum-based NFTs on their profiles, Cryptoadvisor learned from messages tweeted out by Will Allen, Adobe VP of Product.
From today, Behance users can display NFTs created on Solana after connecting their Phantom. Ever since it was launched, the platform has aimed to help creatives build their careers on their own terms. This is regardless of their different and unique needs, be they part-time or full-time jobs, livestreaming, selling NFTs, or selling templates.
A transaction on SOL costs a fraction of a penny
While Behance users continue to showcase NFTs that were minted on Ethereum, many are worried about the Ethereum Mainnet’s excessive energy consumption and the high transaction costs.
As a Proof of Stake blockchain, Solana addresses these concerns. Will Allen assures that the cost of a transaction on Solana is negligible, using the same amount of energy as a Google search. It’s not only easy to set up a store on the blockchain, but also to mint NFTs with a tool like Holaplex.
Keeping thieves at bay
Many NFT artists have had their works stolen. This is an issue Will Allen has grappled with over the past year. Solana will soon add addresses to the tool ‘Content Credentials’ to prevent theft and keep malevolent entities from taking credit for others’ work. The ecosystem will provide additional chains to keep NFT artists and their products secure.
Access to the best Solana NFT marketplaces
Creatives have access to top marketplaces on the blockchain, like Magic Eden and Form Function. For more technical users, Metaplex provides full control. QuickNode helped Behance develop this feature on Solana.
