The BTC bonus adds to the already available bonuses, with the first payout set for Saturday 9 April at UFC 273: VOLKANOVSKI vs. THE KOREAN ZOMBIE.
UFC President Dana White said of the new bonus:
“Crypto.com has been an official UFC partner for less than a year, and I’m telling you they are already one of the best partners we’ve ever had,”
The UFC boss added that Crypto.com’s idea is huge for UFC as it seeks to connect more with its fans around the world.
Fans also stand a chance to win prizes
UFC fans all over the world can vote for their top fighters via the Fan Bonus page on Crypto.com. Here, every fan will have access to three votes, with each fan eligible to vote for two fighters during each Pay-Per-View bout.
The voting will be open right from the preliminary rounds, while fans have up to an hour after the event to decide who their top fighters are. Fans are also set to win prizes, including early access to NFT drops, a 3-month UFC FightPass and UFC Store gift cards.
Apart from the BTC bonus, Crypto.com is the official UFC cryptocurrency partner. In November last year, the exchange and UFC signed a multi-year collaboration on NFTs that looks to offer athletes up to 50% on UFC NFTs sales.
In a growing list of major partnership deals, including with Formula 1, French football club Paris Saint-Germain, the Australian Football League, and the Philadelphia 76ers. The platform also penned a historic 20-year naming rights deal for the Crypto.com Arena.
